Hey everybody. Welcome back to another episode of the Profit Cleaners podcast. The only place where you can learn from the top 1% of cleaning business owners from around the world to take it to the next level and win.
I'm joined by my co-host, Brandon Condrey in the house. What's going on? Brandon Here, I'm in the flesh or in the video, whatever. We're in the video flesh. And guys, we got an awesome show for you today and just wanna thank you guys for being here. Thank you for the opportunity for just giving us your time so we can share knowledge and help you win with your business.

We were actually back in Albuquerque doing some updates. We could tell people a few of those things going on. But really we've been busy running our business guys. 'cause that's one of the coolest things about this podcast and this journey is we're on the journey with you.
We're in the business with you. We're not just some guru somewhere that had a business a long time ago and we're like, we're in it. We're in it to win it with you guys. So I think that's the best part about this. Anyways, got some quick housekeeping to do. A couple things will work and get outta the way. But stay tuned guys,
I, 'cause we're gonna share some really cool progress on the show that some of our students have been having and I just want you guys to be inspired and just believe that it is so possible for you wherever you're at in your business, whether you're getting started, you're just planning it out, you haven't even started yet. If or if you've been in it for many,
many years already and you're still trying to figure this out, just know that a very short amount of time you taking the right amount of action can change everything. So, but otherwise, Brandon, you wanna just tell him real quick some of the updates we're making to the program, if you guys don't know already, we have a whole program or we help you save time figuring all this stuff out.
We teach you what we do kind of under the hood, behind the scenes. Think we're gonna hit 4 million this year in revenue, but we have coaching, we have live coaching, we've been doing some updates. So let's tell 'em what are some of those updates? Brandon, we've been working on some new videos and and other cool stuff. Yeah, so I mean one of the benefits of working with us is that we're in the business.
Like you said, we didn't sell our cleaning business 10 years ago and then just start talking to people about it. We still have a cleaning business, so that's why sometimes we don't upload things every week. We do our best. But part of that is, is that we learn new things through the process of doing business ourselves and we wanna make sure that those things are in the course.
So we're adding new training videos that are related to our customer experience team set up. We are taking a lot of feedback from sort of the version 1.0 videos that we have in there or the 1.5 videos and getting some updates. So that's part of the benefit of working with us is that we're a reactive group. So we're not just gonna one and done it and put it on autopilot.
We're in there reading the comments that you guys leave on those videos. And so we're trying to update those to get you the best quality and the most UpToDate information. Yeah, absolutely. And it's really, you know, twofold because we're doing this already for our existing business. We're building systems, we're building training, we're building culture, all these things that are really important for sustainable business.
But then the benefit is you guys can model that success and that's one of the most important things you can do in business. You can't do everything you don't have all the time in the world. That's your most finite asset is your time. It's just like when you're cleaning services, you're giving people their time back. That's what we're helping you guys do is compressed time and save time so you can model what's working,
model those results and not have to figure it out on your own. So, but yeah, we've been working on some really cool stuff, some really awesome updates. We've got some cool robot stuff we're working on that's, we're not gonna go too much into detail on that. We'll go on a future episode, but we've been testing out technology, different ways to upsell,
add more value into the cleaning business. So we'll talk more about that on a upcoming episode. But anyways, lots of cool stuff going on guys, so stay tuned for that in the future. Let's dive into it guys. So first of all, I wanted to start just sharing, Brandon's gonna read this here in a sec, but I wanted to share kind of like two sides of this.
So we have a brand new student, Aaron from State College, Pennsylvania. He recently just started working with us and he said, thank you so much for your mentorship thus far. The course has been amazing and will definitely help us scale the seven figures this year. So thank you in advance. So that was Aaron from State College, Pennsylvania, Aaron's out there hustling.
He's a younger guy, he's had I believe another business before, but he's partnering with someone. So anyways, this is someone that is just starting out guys brand new. He's excited about what's on the horizon, what's the potential in the future. But then I wanna share with you guys someone who's come kind of full circle. And this is really, really exciting to share this because one of the whole missions of Profit Cleaners,
if you go to our website guys, it says, the mission of Profit Cleaners is we want to help at least a hundred people achieve a seven figure cleaning business. And so there's probably someone else out there that we've worked with that maybe was right on the cusp and Hass already done that. But I wanna share Krista's testimonial and Brandon's gonna read it here,
but this is actually one of our first students I think that's coming up on this Mark and Aaron where she was about a thousand days ago. 'cause Krista, about a thousand days ago, about three years ago in 2020 she started her cleaning business. And so I want to just show you from Erin all the way to Krista, it's literally a thousand days.
So if you can think of your life a thousand days in the future and how much you could transform your life and your business in just a short amount of time. So Brandon, why don't you read Krista's testimonial, which I love the, maybe we should call it the podcast, what the title of her email was, which is really fun. But 100% we're definitely doing that.
So Brandon sent me this email a couple weeks ago and I immediately forwarded it to my wife. She was like, this is amazing. So two guys named Brandon start a podcast in the middle of a pandemic and you don't know where it's gonna lead, here's where it leads. So the subject of Krista's email was, I owe you a beer or eight Hi Brandon's.
This email is long overdue but I'm making an effort to be less of a consumer and put myself out there as more of a contributor to meaningful conversations in the new year. I know you're busy. The short version of the story is that your podcast gave me the confidence to launch my cleaning business and it completely changed my life. In 2020, I was burnt out from over 10 years as an HR business partner.
I'd known for a while that what made me an asset for other organizations was my entrepreneurial mindset and work ethic. I loved growing businesses even if they weren't mine but felt strongly. I was called in another direction. Cleaning companies were something that kept nagging at me as a working mom, I had a hard time finding the help I needed in our community. I researched franchises to purchase but was also disappointed in those options.
And that's when I found your podcast. I binged Profit Cleaners over Thanksgiving break in 2020. On Thanksgiving Day I purchased the course for 98% off. It was a limited time offer, but I must have been one of the only crazy people listening on the holiday that was a Black Friday sale I believe. Seriously, what kind of person stays in the hotel by themselves on Thanksgiving morning so they can listen to a cleaning company podcast you do Krista,
which is great. On April 1st, 2021 Hope Cleaning Company launched on the eastern shore of Mobile Bay. We now have five teams, a 20% Profit margin after my salary and a goal of reaching 1 million in revenue in 2024, which is our third full year in business. More importantly, I pick my kids up from school every day. I have a month long trip to Europe planned for this summer.
I love this team. We're building the community we support and the service we provide. And I don't know that I would've had the confidence to start without you guys. Thank you for what you do and I wish you and your families and your team the best year ever. That's super awesome. I I love the enthusiasm and you know, I also love that Krista is not crediting Brandon and I for making her business successful.
It's just that you have this idea. Brandon and I were both born entrepreneurs and we started various wacky businesses when we were kids mowing people's lawns. Brandon worked for a landscape company, he maintained greenhouses for people, was teaching managers how to run a greenhouse when he was like 15. And that sticks with you. And over time I tried a bunch of stuff that failed or didn't work very well.
Brandon had a bunch of weird Amazon businesses that kind of worked and sold off. And you have that mindset, it's always in the back, it's always going and then sometimes you just need to hear the right person say the right thing. And that was like, okay, I can totally do this. Someone else has done it. There's a path to success Here.
Yeah, absolutely. And that's when we were getting our start and being entrepreneurs, like we looked up to somebody, we had mentors, we had people that I'll never forget my mentors though, that gave me the confidence and the knowledge to win and to like really take action. And I think that's, we're gonna actually roll a clip here of Krista 'cause she sent us a clip of this too.
Just she was so excited. But really what she says here is that you guys gave me the knowledge and the confidence, which is so true. Like when you guys have knowledge, first of all, knowledge is based on experience. It's not I hope, I think, I believe we can do it. It's I know we can do it. I know you can do it.
And when you guys have the knowledge and you couple that with confidence and clarity on what to do next, then it's really easy to take action. And really the thing that's gonna change your life in your business is taking action. And it's hard to do that if you don't know what to do next. But part of what we help you guys with is compress that time and just like Kristen's gonna share here and she already shared in this email,
she had the clarity and the confidence and the knowledge to move forward and to take that action to take the next steps. Which is really if you're still struggling with your business, if you feel like you're spinning your wheels, maybe you just need a little extra knowledge, a little extra clarity and confidence on what to do next because then you very quickly you're gonna be able to start taking that action.
'cause this business is not rocket science guys, it's do the hard work, show up and do the hard work and take the action and you'll get the results. It's gonna show up. Roll it away, take it away Sarah. Hey guys, this is Krista with Hope Cleaning Co and Sarah Hope Alabama. I just wanted to give a quick shout out to the Brandons and to anyone out there owning and operating a cleaning business or considering owning and operating a cleaning business. I found Profit Cleaners when I was still in the planning phases of my business and I am so thankful.
I wouldn't say that I couldn't have done it or wouldn't have done it on my own, but I know that I would not have had the confidence and the knowledge to launch and the way that I did just all in or build and grow the company as quickly as I've been able to so far without the podcast and the 10 x course and the top 1% cleaning company owners community.
And the beautiful thing is with a local services business, there's plenty of ways to be creative and innovative without reinventing the wheel. So hope cleaning is two and a half years old and we've got five teams and really healthy margins and that just means that we're ready to scale. So there's a lot more work to do and I am excited to continue to be a part of this community.

I mean I think like it's so awesome that the stuff that we're doing, these things that we're recording on a computer screen are having real life effect down the road. So I just wanna say thank you to Krista for recording that and sharing that and letting us share that with you. The results aren't guaranteed,
just 'cause you listen to the podcast or even if you bought the course doesn't mean that you're definitely making a million dollars a year. So this is a lot of work that needs to happen on your end. But we're slowly building this community of people online. You can ask questions to bounce ideas off of commiserate with just 'cause a lot of people don't know what it's like to own a business and this is the place we find ourselves in.
So it's a fun journey to be on a stressful one sometimes. But when you get to this sort of like plateau, not plateau, like not even finish line, but when it starts progressing like Christus has where you're able to hang out with your kids or take vacations or do whatever it is that you wanted to do, when you set up the business,
that's when things really start. It feels like it was worth all the effort and sacrifice along the way. 'cause the first couple years are very stressful. I mean I gotta be honest. Yeah, absolutely. But you guys gotta remember this too. Like entrepreneurship is the hardest thing probably ever gonna do. It is extremely hard. It is extremely stressful. There's no balance to anything.
Your emotions are all over the place, especially in the beginning. But you gotta remember, and this is my mentors told me, is you get paid as an entrepreneur, you get paid with the crap, you get paid to put up with the hard stuff that nobody else gets to put up with. But that's why you delayed gratification sometimes it's gonna take you time before you're gonna get to the point where you can pay yourself more and it's actually gonna feel like it's worth it.
But that part in the email that Krista said, more importantly, I pick my kids up every day from school and they have a month long trip to Europe planned for this summer. That is why we do this guys and that's why we start businesses is so you have the time and the freedom to do what you want with who you want, where you want to go,
when you want to do it. That's freedom guys. And that's why we start businesses. And if you guys are again feeling stuck or you're feeling like, I don't know if I can do this again, Kris does a great example. In a few short years she completely transformed her life, her business, she took action. You heard her saying that video,
she said, I'm not saying I couldn't have done it without the Brandons, but she said it gave me so much confidence and knowledge to take the action. So that's what it's all about. You guys have to do it. You have to decide and commit. I'm gonna do the hard work, I'm gonna do whatever it takes to win and have a big vision that is so strong and so powerful that your reason why,
this is what I love this quote, but if your reason why is big enough, the how takes care of itself. So don't worry about how you're gonna do it. Have a huge reason why plug into knowledge, plug into things that are gonna help save your time. If you guys think that if you resonate listening to our podcast, if you like listening,
you're learning stuff. I mean there's people that have completely changed their lives and their businesses just listening to the podcast. So imagine at that level, if you take it a step further and you guys are actually working with us in the program, modeling our exact systems and modeling exactly what we do behind our business. but you gotta be able to show up and not give up and know that it's gonna be hard along the way. But that's why we're here and that's why we have mentors. We have Brandon and I have coaches in our own lives, but we also, one of the most fulfilling things I think is not just our own success with our business, but it's seeing you guys,
like Brandon said, seeing you guys actually win too and, and knowing that us just talking about what we're doing in our business is actually helping you guys transform your life, transform your business. And that's fulfillment at the highest level is actually seeing you guys win. So we wanna see more of you guys win. We wanna see more stories like this, more testimonials.
