Episode 168: You're Invited to Our Live Event: Unlock the Secrets of a 7-Figure Cleaning Business

Brandon Schoen:
If you're not building your network, if you're not, you know, masterminding with other people who are in your industry, you're going to miss out on key insights and you're just going to feel alone. Right? So I think walking away with more clarity, confidence, seeing other people at different levels, this is what a lot of people told us at the event last year was like. It was so great to, like, talk to you guys, but also other people that were below me and above me and at the same spot as me. So we could just like, riff off each other and see how they handled that and how we overcame those obstacles.

Announcer:
Grow your cleaning business, make more money, have more time. This is the Profit Cleaners Podcast with your hosts, Brandon Condrey and Brandon Schoen.

Brandon Schoen:
All right, everybody, welcome back. What's up? We're dropping some massive news that could literally 10x your cleaning business in 2025. Kind of a special episode for a very special event coming up. So let's tell them about it. Brandon, this is inside our cleaning empire. Why this live mastermind will transform your business. What's going on? Are we doing it? Yeah. So we're having a, we're having an in person event, which we've only done one other one. This might be the last one. You never know. But the idea is you can come in person to see our operation in Albuquerque, New Mexico, so you can learn the inner workings of what a $5 million cleaning business looks like.

That's right. And we're only doing this because you guys asked us to do it. We have lots of people every week on our coaching call saying, hey, when are you guys going to do this again? We've mainly made this open just students, but we've got five spots available for the public. So if you're in the public mastermind, in the public group, that's what these, this podcast is for.

So if you haven't yet invested in the program and the mentorship with us, this is just another opportunity for you guys to come out, join, see what's behind the scenes. If you still want to join the coaching in the future, you can still do that. And we'll actually probably work out some deal with you to apply some of that towards the future coaching. So a little bit of a bonus there.

But, yeah, we've got students even from last year that have already doubled and tripled their business. Stacy from Oklahoma, she's booming right now. Another student up in Canada. Literally almost 10x is business. Just in the last 6 months of what we've been working on. So it's pretty cool. A lot of the people that came away from that event were just having big, big moments of like big aha's big takeaways.

And so we're about to literally break down how spending three days with us in Albuquerque could be worth six figures to cleaning business. So we're just going to go into it right now. Let's break it down, Brandon, and share a little bit more about what we're, what you guys are going to learn, what value you're going to get, why this is going to be a great investment and you've taken your business to the next level.

So now is really the perfect time to scale a cleaning business, especially with AI in the position it is. We are working behind the scenes with our software lead gen guys, tighter your sales. We're working on introducing AI into the system. So you're going to get to learn a few things about that, you know, and there's a lot of bottlenecks that cleaning businesses face. Like you get to 250, but you can't go past or 500 and you can't go past in a million.

So every stage is different. So you can come see how we've done it and network with other people that are at different levels as well. Exactly, guys. So this is going to kind of help remove maybe some of the uncertainty if you guys have been stuck at a certain point or you just. Every different stage of business. Like Brandon said, there's different breaking points. So come see how to get past that.

Right. See what we've done, see what other people are doing to get past that and show up. Because otherwise, you know, things are moving fast. You might get left behind if you guys don't keep up with what's going on in the market. So one of those quotes I love. You don't show up, you don't blow up. So come out, show up and blow up your business. So what else, Brandon?

We're going to show them behind the scenes stuff, right? Yeah. So there's a full itinerary in the link down below so you can kind of see the agenda of the thing. But really you're going to get to see all of Sandia Green clean. So there'll be a day where you observe the morning routine of all the cleaners coming in, all 70 of them, how they flow through the building, how customer service interacts, how they get keys, how they load up the cars.

You'll get to see the end of the day routine where they do laundry. Reset for tomorrow. We're going to have some speakers involved. You'll get some face to face time of Brandon and I and some other people that are directly involved. But I think a lot of the value is just behind the scenes. Like you get to see if it's possible, how it's possible, you know how we did it.

Exactly. And if you're a visual person, sometimes seeing is believing, right? You see it and you're like, wow, I didn't, I didn't even see that. If you've been in the course, we had students that had had the course and the mentorship for years and they still were like, oh, I didn't even have this system. I saw it for real in person. And now I'm going to go back and take action and do that.

So it really unlocks insights that you can't get from just videos or calls or stuff in the course that we have. It's a different experience. So you're going to have bigger ahas, just like a lot of the people did in last year. They're going to, you're going to be like, wow, this is awesome and take it back and implement in my business. So people keep asking us, how did you guys build a seven figure cleaning business in this market?

This is what we're going to literally show you guys exactly how we did it, exactly real time, how it works on a day to day operation. So I think it's going to be super inspiring for you guys as well. So like you just said, Brandon, we're going to walk through the whole business, everything behind the scenes, probably stuff you guys never even knew that we did because, you know, there's so much stuff that so many moving pieces and parts but we have limited this so we have 20 spots total.

Most of those are going with, you know, existing students in the mastermind, but we have five spots available for the public. So jump on guys. If you guys are interested, take action. There's still enough time for you guys to book your tickets and get out here, right? So yeah, there's still plenty of time. So you're gonna see. We're gonna see our director of operations and how she does operational stuff on the back end.

You're gonna see our staff manager tell you about how to deal with 70 people and all the drama that comes with that. We have one of the profit cleaner students who focuses on recruiting coming in. He's gonna give you some strategies on hiring. We have a keynote speaker from one of my mastermind groups that we talk about on the podcast. We are hoping to Get a guy who recently sold a 30 year old cleaning business and kind of hear what that experience was like, you know, about what the exit was.

Brandon and I will both give a couple presentations on some things and then really it's just like a three day Q& A. So you can stop us at any point and ask a question. We are happy to answer that. You know, it's going to be an organized little, little boot camp. I don't know if boot camp's the right word, but it's informational fire hose for you. Yeah, it's a mastermind, guys.

You're going to basically like a three day coaching session, right? Consulting coaching. You can literally go right up to our system and be like, what is this? Or how is this doing this? Or. And really get way more insight than you would just talking to us or seeing our videos on YouTube or whatever. So this is in theory, these are actual. This is our real seven figure cleaning business.

Day to day. You get to talk to us, pick our team's brain, like get to see everything on the inside and I think you're going to walk away super inspired just like everyone last year that came to the event. So definitely worth checking out. Guys, the community factor is massive. So connecting with other serious cleaning business owners is invaluable. Another quote I love is your network is your net worth.

If you're not building your network, if you're not masterminding with other people who are in your industry, you're going to miss out on key insights and you're just going to feel alone. Right. So I think walking away with more clarity, confidence, seeing other people at different levels, this is what a lot of people told us at the event last year was like, it was so great to like talk to you guys, but also other people that were below me and above me and at the same spot as me, so we could just like riff off each other and see how they handled that and how we overcame those obstacles.

So yeah, you also get people coming from all different parts of the country. So you're going to get experiences from cold weather climates, hot weather climates, places where it rains. Like you'll just learn how different markets are dealing with the same challenges that you have and maybe that'll give you some ideas on how to kickstart things. Yeah. And then this is also where partnerships are born. This is where, you know, future relationships.

Mastermind groups. Like we still talk to a lot of these people that came to the event last year. Adriano came from all the way from the east Coast. I still talk to him all the time. He's a great friend now. So you guys will create amazing connections with people. And this is really important in business to, to like have these networks, right? So we're going to be doing dinners, lunches.

Like it's like a networking opportunity as well, in addition to the learning and the value you'll get there and all the knowledge you're going to absorb. So, yeah, some people think the biggest value is what we teach, but honestly, it's the relationships you guys build with people, other business owners that get it. And that's really worth the price of admission alone. So I would say, yeah, that that's probably one of the biggest pieces other than everything else you're going to see and get it uncovered with us.

So, so what's the next steps, Brandon? How could people take action, be part of this, come out and meet us, see the great Southwest. Really, you just have to buy your ticket. You know, that's, there's a link down below and you can click that, learn some more about it. You can see the, the agenda which is subject to change. We're still, we're still hammering out a little bit of the details there.

But it's really important that I want to state on this one is that we've limited it to 20 businesses, but your ticket comes with a free guest. So if you bought a ticket, you can bring someone with you that can be your business partner, a key employee at your business or a spouse, you know, just a significant other that you want to have come along for the ride to maybe make to show them what you're trying to do if it doesn't make sense to them.

So that's. That I think is key is you're, it's kind of like a two for one spot deal. Yeah, absolutely, guys. So it's a lot of people did bring like their managers or their spouses or their trainers last year. And so yeah, bring someone with you that can implement these systems in the business, see it for themselves as well. Anyone leadership in your business would be great to bring.

So, yeah, do that. We are going to create a pretty link for this so it'll be easy to find on the podcast. If you guys are listening, go to profitcleaners.com livemastermind and you'll be taken directly to the page to check out and jump on board and grab your one of your spots. So that's profitcleaners.com live mastermind. So, yeah, listen guys, you could literally spend years, literally years. And we talk to People all the time doing this.

Some people have been in business 10 or 20 years and we hop on these strategy calls and they're still stuck, right? So you could spend years trial and error, or you can shortcut your way to success or take a smart cut, as we call it, by seeing exactly how we do it. Totally up to you. But I just want to drop again one of my favorite quotes from Tony Robbins that I always share with you guys, which is find somebody who has the results you want to achieve, model and copy what they're doing, and you'll achieve the same results and save 10 years of your life learning from your own mistakes and trying to figure it out on your own.

So that's Tony Robbins. And that's exactly what we did. That's what exactly. What we're recommending you guys do is take what's already working. Model, success. Don't go at it alone and try to figure out on your own. Your time is so valuable. So compress that time. Come work with us. We'll show you guys how to do it in far less time. Save you guys the trouble of the mistakes and all the reasons businesses fail.

This is why you guys need to invest in yourself and invest in knowledge and come see it in person for yourself. Right? So, all right, so friendly reminder, there's five spots left. So that's it. Whoever gets to it first, you know, those are the ones going to come. The meeting is April 15th through the 17th. Those are the days where we actually have programming. That's where things are on the agenda.

So people are probably going to be coming to Albuquerque on Monday, April 14. And if you'd like, the Southwest is a beautiful place. So stick around over the weekend and cruise up to Santa Fe. Go check out Carlsbad Caverns. New Mexico has a lot to offer. Not only do you not know the best tactics for your market, but it's also all too easy to waste money and get zero results.

Once we started working with Tidy youy Sales, all of this changed. We saved time on following up with customers so we can close more leads. We now have total control of our marketing system, so we know 100% what's working for our market. And best of all, the team at Tidy youy Sales is incredibly knowledgeable and they'll work with you one to one to show you what works so you get results fast.

To learn more about working with the incredible team at Tidy youy sales, go to profitcleaners.com tidyyoursales that's profitcleaners.com tidyYoursales right now. One last thing. A year from now, you'll either wish you'd come or you'll be thinking yourself that you did. And so there's a lot of people in that position from the last event that we did this at, and we didn't know if we were going to do another one after that, so this might be the only one we do.

We don't know. Yeah, that's. That's where we're at. Yeah. So take the opportunity while it's here, guys. Take advantage of it. No, nothing great lasts for forever. So we only did this because you guys requested it. We might do it again. We might not. So take advantage of it because this might be the last time. Yeah. Other than that, I'm looking forward to seeing all of you at the event.

It's going to be an amazing time. That's going to be a breakthrough for a lot of you guys to just see this in person, especially if you've never worked with us before, just come out, meet us, and if you want to join further into the mentorship and the coaching we do, we'll talk to you at the event and share what. How you can do that, and it's going to be a great time.

So. So. Profitcleaners.com LiveMasterMind Go get your ticket, guys. There's five of them. They're going to go fast. And we'll see you guys at the event in April. And anything else, Brandon? Keep it clean. Keep it clean. All right, cool, man. We didn't mention pricing. I guess we don't need to necessarily. And then you're building out a different landing page than the 3497. For people that already got thousand.

I've already got it built. So the students are. Yeah, they have the other link, but this one will go to the. The higher price one. So. And then how are you handling the VIP upsell thing? Oh, that's already in the flow. So, like, when they're checking out, that's like they'll hit purchase and then it'll bring it up and say, hey, do you want to buy this, too? And then there's like a video and stuff.

So, yeah, if you want to buy that one, it's in the. In the purchase flow there as an upsell. So, yeah, it's all in there. So. Cool, man. That's pretty much it. I think I'll just get this over to editing and we'll get it out there, so. All right, let me review these franchise notes really quick while you're still in this meeting. Okay, cool. That other franchise that he talked about was called Tina maids.

That had 20 locations and they were saying 200,000 for each one. Okay. He said he'd be doing this 10 years. This is only the second time did you ever heard of a situation like this. The other guy was the lawn dude. Right. They sold the company in 2023 and now it's a private equity backed firm, but everybody stayed on essentially. Oh, the other thing that's nice about their all in one package thing is they handle all the legal stuff.

So they do trademark filing of the brand, they do all the contract documents. There's like a whole load of help along the way. Okay. 120 day program. Oh, they also help create content. Like they advise you on how and what to record and where to upload it, like to drive leads. It's a $55,000 fee, but it's broken down into payments along the way. I forgot about the payment thing.

Yada yada, yada, yada yada. We talked about that. Guy talked about that. Oh, then we talked about branding, the, the rename branding. And he was like, they're franchising a business model. He's like, no one really cares that much about the name as long as the model works. So he kind of made it seem like the name wasn't that big of a deal, but they're just licensing the ability to use it.

And the first guy I talked to, I did ask him about like you can require all kinds of stuff. So you can require approved vendors and things like that. And you can require them to use the software. The software can use our payment gateway like we talked about with John. All that stuff is fine. He did say the one thing where they'll get you is like, let's say we require them to use the oric, right?

And then we sell it through that Amazon distribution. He's like, if they go out and find online the exact same product you're offering for cheaper and they buy it there, you're not going to be able to tell them that they should have spent more money on the vacuum. So the nice thing is if we white label the cleaning chemicals, they can only get it through us. The vacuums and stuff we're obviously not going to mess around with and make on our own.

So if they find them online elsewhere, who cares? But I think like the rags might be a different thing where like we require them because like you can obviously go on Amazon and find a blue microfiber for way cheaper but it's not the same because it might have a bunch of lint coming off of it and things like that. So all those things would be tackled in there.

But he was super pumped when I told him about how much revenue we had out of one office, essentially, and, like, what we thought the potential was. Yeah. For market growth and things like that. Cool, man. Well, that sounds promising. I mean, he probably sees these things all the time. People probably want to franchise all the time with crappy businesses, you know, so. Yeah, he does. And I think they do that.

They have lots of crappy businesses they've done. So they don't strike me as the type to say no. But I did go find the Augusta Lawn Care fdd, because they made that one. And so I have that in there as a way to just compare it against the other ones. Okay. I'm going to give you these other guys we can talk to from our RTA group. So far, they said they've a couple of these guys here.

We'll just give you the links. So this was a couple of franchise people so far? Yeah. So Philip Pelto, I guess, and Kyle Jersey, west coast franchise developers. So I don't know if that one has a link, but we could find them. Yeah, yeah. So we can check those guys out too. But yeah, let's keep talking to all these people. Okay. And I like all that I'm hearing, though.

Sounds good, man. So, yeah. So if the lawn dude is valued at 100 million with 200 locations, if we were able to compete with the big boys and get up to 500 locations, then hypothetically, that means $250 million evaluation, something like that. Yeah. That's what we need to be doing, building $200 million companies. So let's do it. I feel like Corby's definitely going to sue us again. Oh, well, good for him.

And he signed his life away, so, yeah, good luck. Yep. I just think as soon as that, I mean, maybe he stopped paying attention to us as soon as we signed that thing and it blew up, but yeah, he's gonna see. What, the event or the franchise stuff or what? Oh, I don't think he gives a shit about the event. Like, we were under a lawsuit last time we had an event.

He didn't mention that at all. Yeah, I think when the franchise thing blows up, like when it becomes a $200 million business, then he's gonna be pissed. But then you point back to the document. It's like you said. You said no, so fuck off. Exactly. Yep. And I Don't know. But. But you. Well, let's ask the attorney about that again. I think you said you talked to her, right?

She's like, I did, yeah. I. I talked to her about all this. I was like, look, this is the plan. We want to go big with it. And she was like, yeah, let me just change the language. And so it's really vague. And they didn't push back against any of it. I think Corby's attorney may have just seen this as, yeah, this guy's really mad. We can get some money out of him.

And they weren't really trying very hard. Like, maybe they don't realize the issue of the language that they just signed. I'm reading this book right now called the Power Broker. It's about this civil servant in New York between, like, 1930 and 1965 named Robert Moses. Like, he built all the bridges, like, in New York City, essentially. Like, those big bridges. Like, that was all him, like, driving that.

And he did it through some super shady tactics. And, like, one of the things that he did was he had these laws enacted that put him into power and everyone. He told people to their face, it's doing this. But in the law, if anyone read it, it was. The words were just slightly different enough that he had total control over this. The reason that he got so much power was he built this one bridge and the thing gave him power over the tolls that came into the bridge.

So he had control of all this money from one bridge and he used it to build parks and other bridges and all kinds of stuff. And people tried to kick him out, but, like, he had a state law protecting him because no one read the thing. So maybe that's what happened here. Like, they didn't actually look at what it said in there for the release. And so. Yeah, yeah, cool, man.

Well, I mean, as long as. Maybe ask her one more time, but if she's. If you felt. I feel good about it, but, yeah, it would be nice to just know a hundred percent that there's no way he can claw that back or can come back after us or something. But. Yeah, I highly doubt it. Um, I just think as we go through the. Because it's not under Sandia or Profit Cleaners, it's a different thing.

We have already broken ties with them. I know, but that's how you might be able to sue us again is because it's not part of the release. Like, it's a new franchise company, you know what I mean? So, I don't know. We can tackle that later. I'm inventing problems that don't exist. I just think, well, just. Yeah, run it by Heather again and just say, hey, we're really, we're doing this.

But like, what would happen? Like what's worst case scenario? Corby's going to try to do something. So what is he. What can he do? Like, you know. Yeah, so I just think as we go through the operator manual and franchise stuff where we have to file trademarks on everything, we should come up with names for these systems that don't exist. Like the three person rotation is now the.

Yeah, exactly, whatever system. Like just put everything that we can possibly change, even equipment, even like anything, you know, so. Yeah, yeah, we've already done all that though. Like, he's not right. We used a different micro supplier, we used a different mop company, we used a different software. Plus if tidy your sales is part of it, like that's our own software. Yeah, I just don't. I think we're fine.

I'm just saying I feel like he's definitely gonna come back on it for sure. Let's say he does in this next time we'll be much better prepared. We've already gone through this and we'll have a. Plus, we'll have a shitload more money if we're valued at. That's what I'm saying is we'll have lot more money to fight them and we have a much better case because we already had a great case this time.

We just didn't want to spend all the money. So I think show an attorney and a lawyer and a judge like this guy's crazy. Just, you know, And I think we'll solve a much better case. So I'm not too worried about it. But yeah, we should at least think about what's the worst case scenario when and if that happens, what do we do? What does that look like?

And then just get Heather's input a little more on it. Yeah, good talk. Okay. Yeah, just. Just pretend it's going to happen and what are we going to do? But I think worst case we just fight him on it and then he'll have to pay all our legal fees because we have a much better case now. So. Yeah. Okay, cool, man. Well, all right, put that out. And then have we sold any yet on the tickets?

Let's see here. Or what did you work out with Junior? Let's see. So I just told. I just told Junior to just get out there, man, because I was like, I would love for you to he's like, he was telling me he's not going to do it because he's like, you can't swing the, the cost right now. So I was like, well, pay something if you can, but either way, just get out because you're going to be speaking.

And they're bringing Gran and Rochelle. I think they're all going to car pull out, so they're going to probably purchase. So they sold them for us, basically. Okay. So they're waiting to hear back from. I think Vanya is going to purchase sometime this week. She said she wants to really wants to go. I talked to her on the phone just yesterday and then I've got a Helen. I don't know if you've ever met her.

Her and her husband, they're going to come, but they might need a payment plan. So I think they'll come through today or tomorrow. So it's not a whole lot. But this is why we're going to push out. I mean, there's still people that could still come through for whatever reason. They're being wishy washy and so. Sure, if we end up having more people come from the public audience, I mean, I guess we'll just deal with it.

Okay. Yeah. Cool, man. Cool. All right, man, we'll catch you later. Have a good dinner. Thanks for joining us today. To get more info, including show notes, updates, trainings, and super cool free stuff, head over to profitcleaners.com and remember, keep it clean.
