And it was like a thing you did as a kid. You got to speak in front of your whole family, but I do think it's important in general, just to be grateful for what's going good in your life. So we are grateful. We're grateful for all of you that follow Profit Cleaners that listened to this podcast. When we started out in 2020, we had no followers. It's a brand new podcast, and now we're up to 60,000 downloads and we've got listeners in 40 plus countries. And bunch of five-star reviews. We used to read some of those out at the beginning of podcast episodes. I thought it was really cool. And it like fuels us to hear that we've like helped change your business in some cases, save your business. I remember that was one of the reviews that we got early on. So it takes a lot of work from our end to make these things happen. We're running a real cleaning company on top of making this podcast. So this is a side hustle, if you will, it's hard work, but it's nice to know that the hard work is actually having some impact on people. So yeah, I'm very grateful for that. I'm grateful for every single one of you to listen to this every week.

Absolutely. Thank you guys so much for just showing up and not only in your businesses and your life, but thank you for showing up and growing your cleaning business with us and just hanging out with us on these podcasts. We have a lot of fun putting them together for you guys and just talking about what's going on in our business. But yeah, we couldn't do it without you guys. Like I said, Brandon said, we've got thousands of people out there listening to the podcast now in 40 plus countries around the world. That is so cool to know that people in every continent almost are growing, cleaning businesses and using these techniques and these strategies and all the wisdom that we learned that we're just passing onto you guys. It's like truly fulfilling to know that we're helping you out. And I think that's actually the highest level of business fulfillment is not just like making money, which is great and all, but like the next level of that, of being truly happy and truly fulfilled is like helping somebody else achieve that success. That to me is true success. When you guys email us in and say, Hey, you guys changed my business. You changed my life. That tip or that strategy has totally given us so much more success in our business. That's what we do this for guys. We do this to help you guys and add value. So we just want to make sure you guys know we're really, really grateful for you. So with that said, we want to talk a little bit more of just gratitude, why it's important to be grateful, right? So since we're in the week of giving things, I'll take a moment and think of something you're grateful for like seriously, take a second right now. And what could you be grateful for in your life? And if you can't think, because you're busy, you're doing something I'll just remind you. So you could be grateful for the fact that you own your own business. You can be grateful that you're making a difference in your community. You're a job creator. You're creating opportunities for people to have a job that can provide for their families. You get to create your own schedule as a business owner, right? You're more in control than most people. You have more freedom than most people, even though you feel you've got a lot to do, you are free and you were not tied down to a job like you maybe used to be. So I just want to start out this podcast guys and say focus on the good things. Like when it gets tough, focus on those things and what you focus on, it becomes bigger when you focus on those things that you are grateful for. Those get magnified, those become more in your life. Don't focus on stuff that's negative, right? Obviously you can't be grateful for those things, but focus on the positive stuff. You get more of that when you focus on it and be grateful and you'll get even more when you're more grateful, because it puts you in a mindset and a state of mind where you can receive and you can get more and you can grow more and be more abundant.

Brandon Condrey:
Yeah. We've talked about mindset multiple times on the podcast. And there's a reason that we do that. It's important. Even if negative things are happening to you, like you said, you can't be grateful for those.

That's true. But one of the things that I learned through that peer leadership group is that when something bad happens, the way to approach it is where's the gift in this? What did we learn from this failure? What did we learn from this steak? So there's always a way to expend that stuff is important to keep that up. Brandon and I are both big on journaling,

but you'll see us carrying around the notebook and a panel out at the time. It's just writing stuff down random thoughts or to-do lists or whatever. But a lot of journaling exercises, if you follow a program or you buy like a pre template journal that you fill out on a day by day basis, almost all of those things ask you to at the end of the day,

write down three things that you're grateful for reflect on something that you're grateful for this week. Oftentimes that's like, I'm grateful for my family. I'm grateful for my wife that helped me start this wacky side project and then it's succeeding. But I wouldn't been able to do that if she wasn't cool with me not making money for the first year and a half.

Yeah, exactly. Man. We all have so many things to be grateful for. And like you said, man, that's one of my biggest things.
